About Our Products

Ballarat Mobile Coolroom and Freezer Hire has a range of products available to hire, and all coolrooms and freezers are available to hire with or without shelving. Please note that a freezer can become a coolroom on request only. However, our coolrooms cannot become freezers.

When you need a compact coolroom that you can stand up in, this is the product for you. This coolroom is suitable for butchers to hang small farm animals if required, to keep them fresh and ready for use. All of our coolrooms and freezers are available for short or long term hire. We can deliver for free within Ballarat, you can arrange to pick it up yourself from our location, or you can arrange to meet us at another pick-up area if you prefer.

Our spacious, walk-in coolrooms are high enough for you to stand up inside, making it quick and easy to retrieve the items you want. With so many coolrooms available to hire, larger events and weddings are no problem.

The same size as our mobile coolrooms, our freezers for hire are spacious enough for you to walk into and stand up in. When convenience and efficiency are paramount, know that you can trust us for freezer hire in Ballarat. 
Also available to hire is a generator, which is suitable for all of our products and extension leads. 
Whether you need to keep items refrigerated, ambient or frozen, we can provide the solution for you.

  • Can I hire a coolroom or freezer without shelving?

    All coolroom or freezer are available to hire with or without shelving.

  • What is available to hire?
    • 1 x generator available to hire. Suitable for any of the products available
    • Extension leads are available 
    • Coolrooms
    • Freezers

  • Where can I pick my coolroom/freezer from?

    Pick up zones include the BP Petrol station at Warrienheap, La Trobe Street, or Buninyong Football Oval.

  • Can the coolrooms/freezers lock?

    All coolrooms and freezers can be locked. Locks are provided on request.

  • How much can I stock in my coolroom or freezer?

    Each hire can hold up to approximately 75 slabs of beer comfortably. Anymore may jeopardise the cooling. If you are unsure, reach out to our friendly team for further clarification.

  • When is your peak season?

    September through to April. We recommend reaching out a minimum month in advance to avoid missing on great deals.

  • How Long Does it Take My Fridge to Become Cold?

    If the coolroom or freezer is empty it will take 30 minutes to reach 2 degrees. If you have a fully stocked coolroom or freezer it can take up to 24 hours to cool the products to an optimal temperature.

  • Where can I store my Fridge?

    9ft x 5 ft does not fit in a standard garage due to the tire height of the trailer.

  • Can a coolroom become a freezer, or a freezer become a coolroom?

    Our coolroom’s cannot become a freezer. But our freezer’s can become a coolroom. On request only.

  • What can I expect as the hire rates?

    Our weekend rates start from $220+ GST. We consider weekend hire from Friday AM - Sunday PM.


    Short term rates are for a minimum 1 Day, up to 6 Days. Long term hire is for 7 Days +.

  • Do you offer emergency coolroom hire options?

    Yes we do! We can offer next hour delivery to the local Ballarat area. Emergency call out fees may apply. Please call us for further details.
