St Anne’s Vineyard at Myrniong is located just 25 minutes from Ballarat. Nestled among the picturesque Pentland Hills, the Vineyard, gardens and Myrniong Cellar Door are perfect for a wedding venue. Ballarat Begonia Festival
(Annual Ballarat Event, March Long Weekend)
A free festival at Ballarat Botanical Gardens, Ballarat Begonia Festival takes place over the Labour Day long weekend in March. Between 7 and 9 March 2020, you can enjoy comedy, craft, entertainment, food and beverage outlets, live displays, floral demonstrations and much more
Spilt Milk Festival
(Music Festival, first time held in Ballarat in November 2019)
Saturday 30th November 2019 is when the Spilt Milk music festival takes place in Victoria Park, Ballarat. Khalid, CHRVCHES and Juice WRLRD are headlining, as well as local legends Ocean Alley, G Flip and Middle Kids. You’ll also be treated to delicious food, art, a danceteria and mojito bar, and music and entertainment from a host of top artists.
Chill Out
Chill Out is Australia’s number one Queer Country Pride festival. Their 2019 Chillout Festival was their best one yet, so expect great things from their 2020 Festival! It takes place on 5 to 9 march 2020. A show of diversity and inclusion, it will be held in the gay capital of regional Victoria - daylesford - in the Hepburn Shire.
Local Football Finals
(CHFL, Ballarat)
We are proud sponsors of the Bendigo Bank & Rural Bank Central Highlands Football League (CHFL). With a total number of 18 clubs, games take place throughout the season, March to August. The Ballarat Football League features 11 senior clubs. Grand final matches are held in September at Mars Stadium at Wendouree.

Rainbow Festival
The Rainbow Serpent Festival takes place 24 to 27 January 2020 in Lexton, Victoria. A four-day annual, open-air festival, the Festival features family camping, a BAZAAR, health and wellness experiences, aboriginal ceremonies, discussions and workshops, electronic music, art, dance, and much more.
Ballarat Cup
